We only collect the data the app needs to work. It falls into four categories:
We do not collect your location, your contacts, or any advertising identifier.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies and skin conditions are special categories of data under Article 9 of the GDPR. We process them solely on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you choose to fill in your profile.
These fields are optional: the app remains fully usable without them — only the personalised pregnancy, breastfeeding and allergy alerts are switched off. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clearing these fields in your profile, or by deleting your account.
Each processing activity rests on a specific legal basis:
Your data is never sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes, and is not used for any automated profiling producing legal effects concerning you.
The health and safety information shown in the app comes exclusively from public, verifiable sources. We produce no risk data of our own: we relay classifications established by the competent health and scientific authorities.
Every ingredient page in the app links to the source or sources its classification is based on.
We rely on a small number of processors, which act on our instructions and never use your data for their own purposes:
No other disclosure to third parties takes place, except where required by law or by a competent authority. Where a transfer outside the European Union is necessary, it is covered by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
We keep your data only as long as the purposes above require:
Our encrypted backups may retain a residual copy for up to thirty days after your account is deleted, before being overwritten by rotation.
You can delete your account directly in the app, without contacting us: open Profile, then Settings, then Delete my account, and confirm. Deletion erases:
Deletion is immediate and irreversible: a deleted account cannot be restored. No temporary deactivation is offered in its place. If you cannot reach this option in the app, write to contact@idbeauty-dz.com and we will complete the deletion within thirty days.
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:
Access and rectification are available directly in the app, from your profile. For any other request, write to contact@idbeauty-dz.com: we reply within one month at the latest.
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed with an adaptive-cost algorithm and are never stored or transmitted in clear text. Database access is restricted to the people who need it, and images are served from access-controlled storage.
As no system is infallible, we would notify you and the competent authority without undue delay in the event of a data breach likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms.
ID Beauty is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of thirteen. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, write to contact@idbeauty-dz.com and we will delete it promptly.
This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to work, plus anonymised audience measurement. No third-party advertising tracker is set without your consent.
The mobile app uses no advertising cookie or tracking identifier, and does not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites.
We may update this policy to reflect technical, functional or regulatory changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. For any substantial change, we will inform you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
