These terms govern the use of the ID Beauty app and this website. They set out what the service does, what it does not do, and the commitments we make to each other.
These terms of use govern access to the ID Beauty mobile app and to idbeauty-dz.com, published by ID Beauty. By creating an account or using the service, you acknowledge that you have read and accept them in full. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
ID Beauty lets you search for a cosmetic product by name, review its ingredient list, and see a risk level for each ingredient across three levels: green (no identified risk), orange (worth watching) and red (high risk). If you fill in your profile, the app additionally flags ingredients not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and those matching your declared allergies.
Product search and ingredient pages are available without an account. An account is only required to keep an analysis history and to receive personalised alerts.

The risk levels shown by ID Beauty are not a matter of subjective judgement: they are derived from the classifications published by the European and international health and scientific authorities listed below.
Every ingredient page in the app links to the source or sources its classification is based on.
These sources evolve. We update our database periodically, but a temporary gap with an authority's latest publication remains possible.
ID Beauty is an information and education tool. It is not a medical device, a diagnosis, a prescription, or medical or pharmaceutical advice.
We do everything we can to keep the information we publish accurate and current, without being able to guarantee it absolutely. A manufacturer may change a product's composition without our database being immediately aware of it: the product packaging always prevails.
To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for a decision to buy, use or stop using a product taken solely on the basis of the app's information, nor for any indirect damage resulting from it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct or personal injury.
The app, the website, their visual identity, their texts and the structure of our database are protected by intellectual property law and remain the property of ID Beauty.
Brand and product names mentioned belong to their respective owners and are referenced for identification purposes only. Public data drawn from the sources listed above remains subject to the terms of use of their respective publishers.
The service is provided "as is" and free of charge. We may develop it, change or withdraw features, and interrupt it temporarily for maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
We may suspend or close an account in the event of a clear breach of these terms, in particular automated extraction of our database or an attempt to compromise the security of the service. Except in urgent cases or where the law requires otherwise, suspension is preceded by a warning. You may end the relationship at any time by deleting your account.
The processing of your personal data — including your health data — is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
These terms may be amended. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. For any substantial change, you will be informed in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use the service then constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by Algeria law. In the event of a dispute, we invite you to write to us first at contact@idbeauty-dz.com so we can look for an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
If you are a consumer, you retain the benefit of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
